Kristian is a founder member and partner of Football Development Schools. He has previous coaching experience in the U.S.A with Major League Soccer Camps in the Summer of 2001 and 2002, which was'an invaluable experience as a young coach'. His coaching in the U.K began with brief time at Peterborough United within their community programme (Posh Soccer) in 2000, before moving onto P.S.N. Soccer Schools. There he was responsible for the Community and Player Development aspects in Stamford and Rutland, with some additional responsibilities for Corby, Wellingborough and Peterborough at different times. In April 2005 these responsibilities came under the newly formed F.D.S. umbrella. Kristian is now in his sixth year in the Rutland and Stamford area in which time many boys from the area have gone into the professional game.
At the Elite level he worked at the Northampton Town Centre of Excellence from 2001 until 2006, where he worked with players from under 8 and under 14, helping to put together a comprehensive sports science programme to help the players develop all the skills necessary to be an elite athlete (diet & nutrition, dynamic and static flexibility work, olympic weight lifting technique, core stability training, power work and speed & agility). In June 2006 he moved to the newly formed Kettering Town youth Academy along with the F.D.S. staff and coaches from the Northampton Town Centre of Excellence. In January 2007 he helped set up the F.D.S. Academy having recently left Kettering Town. Kristian currently coaches the Under 13 squad at the F.D.S Academy. |
