MAY: DEVELOPMENT CENTRE GRADUATE RETURNS FOR A SESSION

The players at Kettering Development Centre were pleased to welcome back Joe Moriarty to Development Centre Football on Tuesday 24th May. Joe 14, is now a player at Northampton Town's Centre of Excellence and plays for the Under 16's following a year working extremely hard at Corby Development Centre. Joe was able to demonstrate to the boys (aged 7 - 9) a number of skills which have seen him finish as a runner up on the BBC's Football Focus tap up competition last year. Head coach Howard Willmott also brought to the boys attention that Joe ply's his trade as a centre back at the Centre of Excellence and reinforced the need to be comfortable on the ball what ever the position you may play in. He also spoke about the dedication Joe had to show in making it into the Centre of Excellence, and the importance his homework made in him achieving this goal. Football Development Schools would like to thank Joe for taking the time in coming down to the Kettering Development Centre and also thank the players of the Development Centre in working hard during the session. With this application hopefully a number of the boys can follow in Joe's foot steps.
