NEWS - APRIL: HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO GO ON TOUR?

Following the tour to Holland and with a number of tours coming up the coaches have been impressed by a number of boys taking it upon themselves to ensure they are coming on these trips.

While FDS try and keep costs as low as possible for all tours, there is a cost for parents to find, however there is an increasing number of boys who are taking it upon themselves to find the money for the different initiatives and it shows that the boys are prepared to take responsibility for their own football, which has benefits beyond the financial release for parents.

The jobs undertaken by the boys are car washing and household chores

Responsibility equals confidence, and while the boys are only taking on board small jobs the satisfaction and appreciation for the money they have raised will help them appreciate the meaning of money and the sacrifices needed in gaining it.
