SEPTEMBER: GRENDON MATCHES - UNDER 7 & 8
On Saturday many of our under 7 and under 8 development centre players came to Grendon Hall to play in our Saturday morning games programme. The boys arrived looking very professional in shirt and tie and maintained this professionalism throughout the whole morning.
The boys were divided into four teams and played every team twice throughout the morning, with the quality improving throughout, once the players had become comfortable with their teammates and had improved their space making skills. Once the boys began to spread out it allowed to them to show their dribbling and turning skills more and also to improve their passing choices.
Well done to all the boys who all showed an excellent attitude throughout to playing skillfully and creatively and also worked really hard to defend and tackle as well as possible.
Also a big thank you to the parents who helped to create a pressure free environment for the boys and were very supportive of what we were trying to achieve with the games programme.We look forward to seeing you again soon.
