FEBRUARY: FUTSAL TOURNAMENT LATEST
Following the closing date for entry into the first ever year 3&4 futsal tournament on Friday 10th March, 11 teams will be competing. There is a chance for one more team to enter as 12 teams would be the preferred number of teams, so if any of the competing teams would like to enter another team or a new school would like to come along please ring Howard on 07868 757419.
Following the success of the last Futsal tournament open to all key stage 2 children, FDS have been delighted to see a number of high profile names in football talking about the benefits that futsal can bring to players development. FA technical director Trevor Brooking has recently been on the BBC's Football Focus programme taking about the benefits of the game of Futsal and how it is the fastest growing indoor sport within the country.
