Group 1

The groups winners came together with Hall Meadow 1 being named the strongest of the 2nd placed teams for what would become a very competitive group. The first group games saw Havelock turn up the heat with an impressive victory to set the tempo with Little Bowden demonstrating enough class to see off the challenge of the battling Hall Meadow 1 Team. Little Bowden managed to pressure Havelock into their only dropped points of the tournament when they held them in their second game, but Sherrier having beaten Hall Meadow managed to have enough left in their tank to cross the line just ahead of the Market Harborough outfit. Havelock would be crowned the champions if they could break down the resistance of Hall Meadow and duly obliged with an impressive performance to win the game and the plaudits of the first Futsal tournament. The Futsal Grand Final with Tuesday's winners now awaits the boys from Desborough.

Redwell again produced some fine individual performances in achieving second place.
