NEWS - SEPTEMBER: THE 4TH YEAR 5&6 FDS FUTSAL TOURNAMENT

More goals, More shots, More attacking, More Creativity its all part of the game of Futsal

Football Development Schools (FDS) in partnership with West Bromwich Albion FC would like to welcome schools to our 4th annual school futsal tournament at Kettering Arena on Friday 21st November. The tournament continues to grow in popularity and has become a firm favourite with participants over the past few years.

The unique tournament embraces all aspects of the game, which originates from South America, with music accompanying all the games and most importantly plenty of game time for each team.

Participants have come from Kettering, Northampton, Wellingborough, Rushden, Brackley and Lutterworth in the past and it is a great introduction to the sport of futsal.

The competition has the capacity for 15 teams with FDS keen to forge ahead in developing the game of futsal within the region.

FDS are working towards creating more opportunities for participation in this form of the 5 a side game, and believe it has a considerable part to play in the development of young players, as it encourages skilful and imaginative play.

Cost: £30 per team (two teams maximum can be entered)
