NEWS - AUGUST: DEVELOPMENT CENTRE START BACK DATES

Development Centre sessions start back in early September. Unless advised otherwise all summer participants are welcome back into the programme, and should be receiving their booking forms through the post in the near future. If for any reason you have not received a booking form please come to the first session back and the coaches will ensure you have the correct forms.

This coming year sees the formation of the Gold Groups, where certain boys will be invited to attend an additional session, which will help them take their football to the next level. The development centre players will also have the opportunity to come on residential and for those who are really pushing on with their football a tour.

The coming season should also see players having the opportunity to play against our Academy players and test themselves in a number of different challenging environments.

The players who push on with their football are those who are always participating in the different Development Centre initiatives. At FDS we have an excellent programme which has produced well over a hundred elite players who now play in academies and Centre's of Excellences. To progress players need to show the dedication and desire to be the best. By coming on the different initiatives this shows a commitment which will help individuals develop through to the next level.

The start back dates for the Development Centres are as follows.

Rothwell - Monday 10th September
Rugby - Tuesday 4th September
Oakham - Tuesday 4th September
Kettering - Tuesday 11th September
Daventry - Wednesday 5th September
Wellingborough - Wednesday 5th September
Brackley - Thursday 6th September
Bedford - Thursday 6th September
Stamford - Thursday 6th September
Market Harborough - Friday 7th September
