MAY: BRICKHILL COACHING SESSIONS

On Saturday 7th May coaches Howard Willmott, Kristian Heames and Andy Lewis headed down to Bedford and took part in training sessions with Brickhill's junior teams. The coaches worked with a number of age groups involving both boys and girls. The Under 8 and 9 boys worked on skills and then progressed onto a  1v1 session, aiming towards becoming comfortable with the ball and having the confidence to take players on. The older boys worked on playing out of defence. Firstly, working on the technique of opening out with the ball and then transferring this into a small sided game. The girls group worked on their techniques, developing their skills before developing them at speed in a various game related activities. The coaches at Football Development Schools would like to thank everybody associated with the Brickhill Juniors in making them feel very welcome, along with thanking the players for coming and working hard during the session.
