Football Development Schools (FDS) have worked with over 100 boys who have gone on to play at the pro clubs and the elite level in English football and have an Academy that can provide ambitious players with the chance to excel in the sport.

How do ambitious players become part of the programme?

Football Development Schools have a trials day for next years U13 squad and U12 squad.
The standard is extremely high in these squads, however we believe there are opportunities for players to become part of the FDS system.
Size is not important, attitude is.

The U12's and U13's play in the Midland Junior Premier League as well as going on tour to play in top tournaments throughout europe. The coaching is by top development minded coaches who pay attention to detail in helping players reach their potential. The environment is highly challenging, but greatly rewarding for those lucky enough to be selected.
