Academy Weekly Letter
This page is to keep players and parents up to date with any changes to the Academy Schedule. Due to sometimes unforeseen circumstances, we are required to change arrangements for fixtures and training, and at times add in fixtures at short notice. This page will enable Academy players and parents to get any alternative information as quickly as possible to help the Academy to continue running as efficiently as possible.
Each week the Academy Weekly newsletter will appear here, which combined with our Academy Schedule will help to improve communication further.
Friday 10th September – Training at Wellingborough School (5.45 – 8pm)
Saturday 11th September – U9’s fixture Away to Cambridge United

Sunday 12th September – U10’s, U11’s, U12’s, U13’s & U14’s
Sadly Shrewsbury have asked to reschedule the fixture to January 30th.
As a result of this we will be training at Rothwell Montsaye 9am to 12 noon.
Monday 13th September - Training at Rothwell (5.45 – 8pm)
Friday 17th September - Training at Wellingborough Schoool (5.45-8pm)
Sunday 19th September - Fixtures vrs Boston United
U11’s & U13/14 Home
U10’s, U12’s, U14/15 Away
Miscellaneous:
Players will be receiving letters shortly, stating which tours we would like each player to attend this coming season.
Added fixtures to the schedule
Saturday 25th September – U12 and U13/14’s Vrs WBA shadow squads at the dome.
Saturday 20th November – U13/14 & u14/15 Vrs PB soccer School (Norwich)
Sunday 21st November – U10, U11’s vrs Development Centres
Sunday 30th January – Shrewsbury Town FC, all ages
