Football Development Schools Vacancies
Football Development Schools in partnership with West Bromwich Albion Football Club are able to offer the following opportunities;
FDS-West Brom Development Centre Coaches – This is a part-time coaching role, working with selected players at our Development Centres across the region. This is a player development position working within the FDS framework for developing players for the professional game. Coaching Apprenticeships – FDS currently offer coaching apprenticeships for those aged 16-24, who would like to get paid whilst they are training to be a coach. Apprentices will do the following
- Shadow FDS-West Brom staff in School Sessions, Development Centres, Shadow Squads and at Events
- Gain a 1st4Sport Level 2 in Activity Leadership
- gain FA Level 1 and Level 2 coaching qualifications based on appropriate progress.
- 1 year full-time or 2 year part-time possibilities
- European Travel opportunities with Squads travelling to tournaments in Holland, Finland, Germany, France, Denmark, Estonia and more

FDS-West Bromwich Albion Shadow Squad Age Group Coaches – This is a part-time position taking an age group for 11 fixtures this season against Professional Academies. Coaches will also be required for squad training days. Level 3 desirable, with Level 2 essential, own transport required. This is a player development position working within the FDS-West Brom framework for developing players for the professional game. The ethos is development first, results second, whilst developing individuals before developing the team. Very good rates of pay in relation to the professional game (rates of pay qualification dependent), and a fantastic opportunity to gain experience of professional youth football. Part-time Coaches – Our part-time coaches deliver a range of sessions in Primary Schools, from breakfast clubs through to afterschool clubs and also PE lessons in curriculum time. They also deliver sessions at the weekends and during school holidays. Rates of pay are competitive and dependent on experience and qualification.
